There were drunker, douchier gays than at the Stevie Nicks tribute (imagine Biff from Back to the Future). Call me a snob but Stevie Nicks probably draws a more refined crowd, to say nothing of performers and performance concepts.
Heklina announced a Kate Bush vs Björk tribute. I’m excited but also bummed since they are literally my top 2 favorite musicians and deserve nights of their own.
The best part was Kimo’s “20 years of Madonna in 20 minutes”. Here’s just the first 4 minutes from last night. You can find vids of the full performance elsewhere on the youtubes.
I can’t wait to see you!!! Unfort, we’re flying back on the 14th :-( so you’re gonna have to take us to a different revue. (We roll in on the 11th.)
Also, I said my own private boo for Ambrosia Salad for you and Michael and did not enjoy her performance.
